A colorful locality provided by bug keeper Jon Barrett, “Millbrook” is unique among the familiar Narceus varieties for its smaller size and vivid red striping. Easy to breed and forgiving, this variety makes a decent first-time millipede, provided it is given a good amount of substrate and rotten wood. Despite the uncertainty differentiating Narceus americanus and the so-called annularis species, it is likely that due to its northern origins and unique characters, this stock is indeed Narceus annularis.
