Detailed Species Stats -Click-
This species is so similar to the powdery blue isopod that the only guaranteed way to tell the two apart is by using DNA testing. However, recently the flowery blue isopod has been found to reside primarily in the southeastern US, whereas the powdery blue isopod has a more widespread distribution. The coloration tends to vary more, and the antennae also have less striping. Care and breeding of both species is the same, and the choice between the two is almost entirely arbitrary.
