“Euro” is the longest craniifer variety, although more lightly built than the other two. The elytra are typically solid black, though large females can get some browning in the center.  The costal margins tend to be crisp, elongate, and glassy as well. Pronotum markings are particularly colorful, but variable and not all adults possess a distinguishable “death’s head”. Blaberus craniifer as a taxon has been the subject of much debate over the past few decades, but it would seem that regardless of the identities of several craniifer and craniifer-like entities, this stock appears to be pure and not the results of mixing multiple lines of different origins.
