After seeing these titans in person, the mega glowspot roach quickly became my favorite Lucihormetica species. It dwarfs both subcincta and verrucosa, and the males are considerably wide despite being shorter than the females. These hefty roaches are ideal for handling and will complacently perch and crawl about, but one must be prepared for the sheer force they exert when attempting to tunnel between one’s fingers! Though a burrower like the other Lucihormetica, the mega glowspot roach emerges during quiet hours to plow about the enclosure in search of food and kin. Furnishings should be firmly fixed in place if redecoration is not desired!
