Indigenous to Cuba, the scrub cockroach is closely related to our native Eurycotis floridana. Care is similar, though the scrub roach tends to be more temperature and crowding sensitive. This is a large species, but the young nymphs are excellent climbers. Several color varieties of this species can be found in the wild, but only two are currently cultured.
