11/23/2021: Getting ready for the winter grind
It has been a blast getting back into the swing of things the last… two months? When the short days and below freezing temperatures hit, there’s nothing more delightful than tending to my bugs in a nice, well-lit, and heated house as I wait for spring.
The next few days I may take a break from blogging for the week. The last two weeks have been very busy with last minute priority shipping, an expo, and a heap of new bugs incoming. Throw the holiday into the mix you’ve got the perfect schedule disruptor. So if things go quiet for a few days here, don’t worry: I’ll be back full force this upcoming Monday!
A few more New Species pages are ready to go, but I’m still flailing to get pictures of a few things. I’m suspicious the new version of my old camera is actually crappier than the old model… I’m open to suggestions on easy point and shoots as although my iPhone takes decent bug pics, I despise the photo interface and it has some issues with taking up close pics if you’re not just the perfect distance away. Any camera suggestions will be welcome in the e-mail inbox!
