• All care information has been derived from my 14 years of experience keeping, breeding, studying, and discussing insects.

• The maps for each species were created primarily using information provided by the Cockroach Species File Online, with additional range data added from BugGuide and personal experience.

• In addition to my experience raising insects, I graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and a background in biology, fieldwork, nature education, and wildlife stewardship.
