2/12/2021: Death by isopod: Culture compendium 3 (Final)
Well, here it finally is! The last of the old guard of projects and species I’ve been working on. Note, this list excludes a variety of things that will be arriving in the coming weeks, but it’s exhaustive for now!
Proven lines (breed true within their descriptions) in their final analysis phases and slated for release soon:
–Armadillidium vulgare Fort Stockton red (unique red line derived from wild caught individuals in Texas. Very cool!)
–Armadillidium nasatum “Confetti” (orange flecked dalmatians)
–Armadillidium vulgare “Nova” (bodies with high but variable amounts of white)
–Porcellio ornatus Project name champagne (Reddish orange individuals derived from “South”)
Ongoing projects at various stages of consistency and/or heritability testing:
–Porcellio scaber “Bonfire” (orange bodies with a gradient to gray-black at the back, derived from pure “Scorpio”)
–Porcellio scaber Salsa skirt project (Gray calicoes with interesting dashes of orange and black across the body and light sides)
