2/23/2022: A cozy Wednesday morning with Hemithyrsocera vittata

The weather is warming, the sun has been shining, and every winter morning is a lot less gloomy with a bright tank full of Hemithyrsocera vittata!

I got off my butt and got a decent video of the morning routine with my colony, finally showcasing the charm and personality of these beautiful insects. It’s hard to beat their aesthetics and behavior, which is why they’re now number 2 in my very long list of favorite cockroaches.
