4/1/2021: Holy shining beetles!

Today is the perfect day to gush about these incredible beetles we found on weeds in Florida! These beautiful beetles are unbelievably shiny and very rare, only found in extreme southern Florida! Their color is so incredible they glimmer like priceless jewels in the sunlight, like tiny droplets of concentrated rainbow! They are very easy to raise and one female can lay 1,500 eggs or more during her half year life! Absolutely amazing! Unbelievable! These are incredible beetles with unrivaled beauty like you’ve never seen in an insect! Check back for availability soon!

Happy April Fools Day!… however this is no prank. These lovely tortoise beetles (Chelymorpha cribraria) are very real, and the color in person is just as amazing if not better than pictured. A double gotchya!
