6/7/2023: A quick look into the vortex

In the spirit of getting back into regular blogs, I wanted to keep things a bit easier and offer some perspective on the last few weeks.

It has been difficult keeping on top of all the work that needs to be done around Roach Crossing and the homestead. I am frequently reminded of my mortality when I come to the end of a 9 hour day finding that more needed to be done, but my body can’t keep up from the incessant grind. I hope that after the move, I will have a much healthier work balance and in hiring a full time employee, both of us can benefit from having less to do between us.

The road ahead is very rocky, but what awaits at the end of it keeps me going.
