Detailed Species Stats -Click-
Pie-dish beetles are amusing darkling beetles with curved elytra and pronota, resembling the edges of a pie dish. Due to their hardiness and pleasant personalities, they do well in mixed darkling species enclosures. Like other small darklings without diapause requirements, these are very easy to raise in mixed life stage enclosures if a deep, damp, compactable, and sandy substrate is provided for larvae to pupate in. After the original strain of this species was lost to culture, Roach Crossing was able to propagate another many years later.
