Detailed Species Stats -Click-
During the 2013 Florida road trip I collected these from various sites across Florida. They were usually found in the top inch or so of leaf litter in live oak forests, but would venture onto the top of the leaf litter at night. In captivity they’re very dryness tolerant as long as they have a moist corner to retreat to. Putting bark slabs on top of the substrate attracts them, and they can easily be shaken off of these when using them as feeders or transferring them to new containers. They breed best when kept with larger invertebrates such as roaches.
