Shy and reclusive, this small roly-poly makes a decent addition to most clean-up crews. The marmorated markings are quite interesting, though to view them you will need to dig up the little guys first! In the wild they are found in moist soil in random places across the southern US, where they coexist with other familiar species such as common roly-polies, dwarf whites, and Porcellionides isopods.
