The classic hissing cockroach, this long-time hobby favorite gets large, breeds well, and is incredibly easy to care for. They are docile when handled, and the experience of holding a big, gravid female is thrilling! This non-hybrid heirloom stock originates from the Cleveland Aquarium, and has been carefully guarded by another long-time hobbyist for over thirty years. Unlike hybrid strains, adults of this variety tend to be solidly patterned with barely any striping and crisp, orange to red-orange abdomens.
