Fulvous wood roaches are a perfect feeder for just about anything. They have colorful, active nymphs, do not burrow, reproduce quickly, and are heat and cold tolerant. Best of all, they are a US native species! Although the tawny adult males can fly, they do not do so readily. Adult females have short, nonfunctional wings and are considerably beautiful with their orange, red, and black color scheme.
