The tiger hisser breaks the typical roach coloration mold with its vivid mixture of black, yellow, orange, and red. Nymphs remain black with some striping until adulthood when the full color scheme is revealed. This species seems to appreciate more moisture than other hisser (but drier than most roaches). With a little work, it would be possible to isolate multiple interesting cultivars from this stock.
