1/5/2021: Barrier Revolution
Over the last year or so I’ve been coordinating with Adam of Roachville on acquiring and stocking a revolutionary new enclosure barrier he’s discovered. This new material is inorganic, non-toxic, heat and cold resistant, non-smearing, affordable, and extremely easy to use, but most importantly… it’s ruthlessly effective when properly applied. Tough-to-contain genera like Eurycotis and Chorisoneura are almost completely impotent when trying to climb it. This will surely make these and other roaches that have been avoided in the past simply because they’re good at what they do more approachable to keepers. Keep an eye on the Supplies and Substrate page; hopefully it will be added by the end of the month!
